IotaMetrics is an App/Application to capture specific action data for a sporting event to generate statistics. The App is released on a per sport basis.
Typical applications will allow for the tracking/capturing of actions in a sporting event context on a per player/team basis. IotaMetrics is intended to be user configurable in order to allow for a high degree of flexibility. This configurability will allow the users to have the option to capture as little or much action data as they wish to configure for tracking.
The user will have the option to load a prepared action set configuration for a particular sport or other activity that they wish to accumulate data. A key feature of IotaMetrics App is the ability to configure the recordable action set on a per sport basis.
When used to track team sport statistics IotaMetrics will allow for immediate presentation of the actions as scoring and frequency counts.
The user may configure each team recording mode; choose team colours and action colours.
Data is saved to a filename based on the date and a file number.
A separate reporting application will allow for generating of statistics using charts, tables and graphs. The reporting tool will provide generic frequency counts on various statistics.
The app needs certain device permissions for licencing purposes, storage and networking.
